Diary Entry #6 September 22, 2007

Wow, it has only been a month since the last time I posted.  Well, things are crazy busy, as usual.

I had my first Universal Elegance photo shoot and those photos are up.

I became an official board member of the Miss Ellis County Scholarship pageant, so I have been working to get sponsors for their pageant coming up in October.  I do have to say that seeing these talented young women and what MAO does for them, really makes me regret not competing in MAO, when I had the chance. But, luckily, I am able to live vicariously through them J

Plus, I have been planning a new Queen for a Day event at Gilda’s Club Texas. That will be next Saturday, September 29.

I think that is all that is going on…I will be traveling across Texas the entire month of October, so my next entry probably won’t be until November…

Hugs,

Diary Entry #5 August 23, 2007

Sooo…I have not been keeping up my diary. But, it was a great year. I was the guest speaker at the Coppell Relay for Life.  I was invite to the floor of Congress in Austin.  I gave up my OWA title.  And lots more.  The newest pageant news is being crowned Mrs. Universal Elegance Ambassador. I am very excited about being able to help this new system grow.  Check them out at www.universalelegance.com

DIARY ENTRY #4 MAY 17, 2006

Ok it has been a really long time since my last entry.  Life has been extra crazy, as I have changed professions and am now managing a weight loss centre.  I am thrilled with my position, but working a full time job comes with full time responsibilities.

In addition to my new job, I was recently crowned Outstanding Woman in America. To say the least, I am thrilled.  I competed against so many wonderful and talented women,(hugs to Shawn, Shannon, Carla, Susan and Amy). I am truly blessed.

The last great event is winning the President’s Call to Service Award for over 4,000 volunteer lifetime hours.  This is so important because I feel that  via volunteerism, I am able to change lives and be a role model.

Well, off to bed.  Pageant love and hugs to all!

DIARY ENTRY #3 NOVEMBER 10, 2005

Once again, it has been several weeks since my last entry.  I finally was able to see a dermatologist that has been able to medicate me and help clear up my eye problems. Just in time too, I have a tv interview on Saturday November 12, 2005, for PAX TV. They are doing a story on local charities and will be speaking with me about Queen for a Day. It will be a ½ hour special just about what I do. The week after that, I will be hosting parties for QFAD at Medical City Hospital.

Classic Beauty has a new national titleholder, Nicole Jividen. It was sad to give up my crown, but Nicole will fill my shoes J.

In my personal life, I have started a new job at Glamour Shots. I figure with as many photos that I have taken there, I should just work there. Only 2 days a week.

Well, TTFN, hopefully, I will be able to write sometime next week.
